The Hernando County Voter Registration List

1867-68

The 1867-68 Hernando County Voter Registration list is the first list of voters after the Civil War and was the first to include African American voters.  This list shows those residents who were fortunate enough to survive the Civil War to return home.  During this time Hernando County included Pasco and Citrus Counties.  Below are images from Special Publication No. 2 published by the Tallahassee Genealogical Society Inc.  This page is maintained by the Pasco County Historical Preservation Society Inc.
