Jeff Cannon will be visiting the Hudson Church of God to share the new local history book Images of America: Hudson.  In the new book Jeff presents and shares the places, faces, and events that have shaped Hudson’s history and character.  The new 128 page Images of America: Hudson book highlights the history of Hudson through 200 historic photographs, documents, and newspaper articles, which offer a rare glimpse into the community’s past.  Included are numerous early photographs of the Hudson family, early pioneers, the Hudson Spring, the Hudson School, as well as the community’s early industries of fishing, sponging, and hunting. 

In addition to presenting the new book a small display of local historic items will be shared including but not limited to items from the local sawmill and turpentine industries, sponging and fishing industries, and several personal items from Hudson’s early residents.

Jeff Cannon will be at the Red Barn Auctions and Antiques on Hudson Beach for a book signing.  Red Barn is one of the several locations around town where you can purchase a copy of the new local history book.  In the new book Jeff presents and shares the places, faces, and events that have shaped Hudson’s history and character.  The new 128 page Images of America: Hudson book highlights the history of Hudson through 200 historic photographs, documents, and newspaper articles, which offer a rare glimpse into the community’s past.

Not only will Jeff Cannon be on hand for a book signing but there will also be a live auction where you can bid on one of the many great antiques or collectibles being offered.  Red Barn Auctions and Antiques is located at the corner of Clark Street and the historic Old Dixie Highway in Hudson.

Jeff Cannon will be at the April Sea Pine Civic Association meeting for a historical presentation and book signing.  Sea Pine is near to the location of where the original Lang settlement was established in the late 1870's and was among one of the earliest settlements along the coast of Pasco County.  Today, the area of the Lang settlement is at risk of development, which would destroy what little historic evidence remains.  The Lang settlement and some of its early setters are highlighted in the new Images of America: Hudson book.  In the new book Jeff presents and shares the places, faces, and events that have shaped Hudson’s history and character.  The new 128 page Images of America: Hudson book highlights the history of Hudson through 200 historic photographs, documents, and newspaper articles, which offer a rare glimpse into the community’s past.

Not only will Jeff Cannon be on hand for a book signing but he will also give a historical presentation regarding the early Lang settlement and its residents

Jeff Cannon will be at the Hudson Regional Library on May 15, 2010 to participate in the library's local Author's Fair.  Jeff will present his new book Images of America: Hudson, which shares the places, faces, and events that have shaped Hudson’s history and character.  The new 128 page Images of America: Hudson book highlights the history of Hudson through 200 historic photographs, documents, and newspaper articles, which offer a rare glimpse into the community’s past.  Jeff will be on hand to answer questions or to sign copies of his new book.
