This photo shows the Johnson Cew Cemetery, a.k.a. the Johnson-Batten Cemetery, in 2008. At the time of our visit the grass was very overgrown, nearly knee high, and there were only one or two graves that had been mowed around. It seems like who ever had been mowing their family plots would have simply mowed the remainder of the cemetery since its only 1-acre in size?!? (Photo 2008 by Jeff Cannon- ©Copyright)
