This grand and beautiful building served as the first church building for the Methodist Church of Dade City.  This structure was built in 1889 and was situated along the Historic Church Street in Dade City.  The contract for construction was given to local resident and carpenter James Ervill Lee.  After construction, in October of 1889, James Lee's daughter, Annie Elizabeth, was married to Simeon F.
